The Den Chenin Blanc 2022

Fresh lemon and pear aromas give way to tropical passion fruit on the nose. Crisp acidity and a hint of oak add to the texture and wonderful fruit flavours linger on the palate. Exceptional value.

Grapes were harvested from Leeuwenkuil in the Swartland and Welgegund in Wellington.

The Leeuwenkuil grapes were tank fermented using natural yeast and blended with a smaller portion of barrel-fermented wine from old vines in Wellington.

Total production 60,000 bottles.

This wine was bottled early and is intended for consumption as a young wine.

Great with chicken served with a creamy mushroom sauce, or pea and broad bean risotto.
