Dona Paula Estate Chardonnay 2021

Dona Paula use only estate grown grapes, cultivated at high altitudes where the cooler temperatures allow the grapes to ripen slowly, developing complex and intense flavours. This is a complex example, golden yellow in colour. Zingy citrus with an underlying minerality couple with tropical fruit and some nice spice, give a very balanced and integrated wine.

The grapes are hand-picked during the first week of March. They are first agricultural practices. pressed, and then fermented at low temperatures in stainless steel tanks. 50% of the must finishes its fermentation in new French oak barrels.

Ageing is carried out in French oak barrels for a period of 8 to 10 months.
