Description
A great vintage, perfectly ripe grapes, ageing in oak barrels in the purest house style since 1735, and prolonged bottle ageing. The long hard work in the cellars are now embodied by Clos Mandois 2008. Derived primarily from old Pinot Meunier vines planted in 1955, its pronounced golden hue, its extraordinary complexity on the nose and its impressive intensity on the palate reflect our quest for perfection.

The continental influence is responsible for favorable sunshine in the summer.
The oceanic influence brings water in regular quantities with little annual thermal contrasts. This double influence offers the guarantee of a constant and moderate rainfall favoring an almost ideal water supply and essential to the quality of the grapes (average volume of precipitation = 700mm per year)
