A highly aromatic wine, with scents of rose water, musk and lemon zest. Offering a generously sweet palate of turkish delight which is balanced by the acidity of the Riesling.

Traminer blocks are selected on their lifted spicy musk and rose petal flavours to combine with the floral and citrus flavour offerings of the selected Rieslings.

Viticulture
Another dry winter followed by late spring rains enabled vines to produce a healthy crop of fruit. A hot summer brought Vintage on in a hurry kicking off on 21st of January. With crops slightly below average and no disease quality is above average.
Vinification
A specialised yeast strain isolated by Institut Oenologique de Champagne is employed to highlight the varietal characteristics of the Traminer. Completed a healthy 10-14 day ferment in stainless steel. : Wine is de de alcoholised using the newest SIGMATEC technology from Schmidt. The process is a distillation under vacuum. This allows the elimination of alcohol at low temperature (30-35 C) thus with a minimum aroma loss
