Created from Grenache Blanc produced by the Foundry in Stellenbosch blended with old vine Chenin Blanc grown on two sites in the Agter Paarl and Viognier from Kasteelsig Vineyard.

Viticulture
2017 was a cool but dry vintage. Grapes were harvested mid-February to late-February.
Vinification
Handpicked and whole bunch pressed. Barrel fermented with wild yeast in 500 litre new, second fill and older barrels; left on lees for 9 months.
Maturation
This wine can be drunk young but also has the potential to future develop in the bottle for up to 6 years from vintage.
Food Pairing
Roast pork with all the trimmings, rich flavoured fish, gorgonzola and walnut risotto, biryani.
