Viticulture
Grapes were harvested from Leeuwenkuil in the Swartland and Welgegund in Wellington.
Vinification
The Leeuwenkuil grapes were tank fermented using natural yeast and blended with a smaller portion of barrel-fermented wine from old vines in Wellington.
Total production 60,000 bottles.
Maturation
This wine was bottled early and is intended for consumption as a young wine.
Food Pairing
Great with chicken served with a creamy mushroom sauce, or pea and broad bean risotto.
