An almost perfect growing season, with healthy rainfall during winter and early spring with no extended heatwaves lead to perfect ripening conditions, as well as vine health. These conditions provided the platform for steady maturation and development, overall retaining good varietal characteristics.

Harvest was timed to ensure a marriage of fruit freshness, as well was the ripeness of tannins. Separately fermented on skins for 7-10 days at 23-27°C, the Shiraz and Cabernet parcels were then blended together to create a fruitful, fleshy red with great structure and weight. A combination of both French and American oak was used during maturation to add complexity.
